We recommend arriving about 20-25 minutes in advance of your rental. Please have you wavers filled out on line before arrival. We will fit the whole group for helmets, go over the trail system and how to stay safe while still having fun!
Make sure to bring identification and a sense of adventure. It is also a good idea to bring snacks, waters, sunscreen and appropriate weather gear or you can purchase all of this from our retail store inside Backcountry Attitudes.
We have trails for all driving abilities! If you are 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license and can drive a vehicle you will be able to operate our machines. Our experienced team at BCA will help get you and your family on the trail that best fits your capabilities and is safe for you and your family. Our goal at Backcountry Attitudes is to create the best adventure, start to finish, for all our guests.
They are forest trails granting you access to enjoy high mesa and low canyon views with intermittent rock climbing. BCA trail systems offer the most pinnacle ride in southern New Mexico. You can visit our YouTube page to see more @BackcountryAttitudes.
Children under 5 are NOT allowed in any of the off-road vehicles.

Yes, each machine has a built-in GPS system installed with Ride Command. The adventure that is mapped prior to your departure will fit your family’s abilities and needs.

We use Polaris Ride Command which will show you multiple trail systems where you can ride. You are more than welcome to swing by our store as well and we can get you information on all the legal routs. Here is the link to start a free account with them and you can download it to your phone. Polaris Ride Command. All Village municipal roads are accessible with NM on-off road permits with all DOT requirements on OHV’s. Permits can be acquired through NM DMV.
